A wonderfully entertaining, Austin-themed holiday movie called Angels Sing, starring Harry Connick Jr. Willie Nelson, Connie Britton, Lyle Lovett and Kris Kristofferson is bringing I Live Here, I Give Here Partner’s a fundraising opportunity this holiday season. Your organization can select a night in November to invite your supporters to a special screening of this heart-warming movie at Austin’s own Alamo Drafthouse theaters.
How It Works:
Your organization can buy out a screening with tickets at $10 each and offer them to your supporters and the community at a price you choose to raise funds for your work. Apart from that commitment, the screening evening has many options and flexibility for you to create a fun and engaging event.
You can add value to your evening by having a cocktail party or dinner before or after the event or adding an auction or auction items to the evening. There are many options to increase the return for you and to further excite your supporters to attend. Other options will include the ability to split a screening with a friendly or similarly focused organization to cut expected audience for each organization in half.
Download the Fundraiser Movie Event Guide for more information. If your organization is interested in scheduling an Angels Sing private screening fundraiser in November, please email Liz Fitzgerald, project manager, at angelssingcharities@gmail.com or call her directly (512) 797-2445. Deadline to reachout is October 15th.

We are excited to announce our 2014 Community Needs Spotlight Calendar. I Live Here, I Give Here's Spotlight program works to educate the public on a different need in our community each month. We shed the light on our nonprofit Partner's working hard to meet those needs and ask the community to get involved and give back to those organizations.
We encourage our Parnters to utilize our Spotlight months as a way to further educate their donors and new audiences on the need and continued funding of their work for the benefit of our community. December 2013 spotlight topic is health and wellness. That focus group meeting is this month and October's focus group will be the first to lead us into the new calendar with January 2014.
